Welcome to the United States Naval Academy Women's Glee

The United States
Naval Academy Women’s Glee Club was founded in l976, when
women first entered the Naval Academy. The chorus has performed
across America and internationally, including tours to California,
Illinois, Florida, Hawaii, New York, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania,
Texas, Virginia, Rome, London, and, this spring, Brazil. This exciting choral ensemble frequently sings in concert with
the Men’s Glee Club, notably in the Academy’s annual presentation of
Handel’s Messiah, and the spring oratorio. However, they were
invited to sing with Beyoncé and Renée Fleming onstage at the 2009
Inaugural Celebration, "We Are One," in honor of President Obama. The Women’s Glee
Club’s diverse repertoire includes a variety of sacred selections, folk
songs, patriotic music, and Broadway tunes that everyone is sure to
enjoy!
