Academic Background: Graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1995 with a BS in Sports Psychology
Graduated from Temple University in 1997 with a MEd in Sports Psychology
Currently enrolled in graduate courses at the University of Maryland in the field in College Student Personnel.  Perhaps there is a PhD on the horizon, but I have not made any final decisions at this point.

Rugby background: Played at the University of Connecticut from 1992-1995
Won the National Championships in 1993
Coached Temple University from 1995-1998
Played for the New Orleans Halfmoons from 1998-2003
Currently play for the Washington DC Furies

US tours: Fiji/New Zealand 7's tour 2003

 

Would I coach in the future? Absolutely. I had a great experience when I helped Temple start their program and was excited when Sue approached me about assisting with Navy. 
For me, it is about the "aha" moments when all the drills and work in practice finally make sense in the game.  You see it in their eyes when they walk off the field, they
have just fallen in love with this amazing game.  So yes, I will certainly continue to coach, hopefully for many years to come.
