Policy Concerning Academic Use of the Noon Hour

Attendance at formations, inspections and lunch at noon is a requirement for all midshipmen. The noon hour is an important time in the development of midshipmen, providing a special opportunity for them to be with their squads.

Exceptions to this requirement for certain special academic events are described in a joint Dean-Commandant Notice.
