Thann is short for Jonathan. I don’t know where the other –n came from, but I am majoring in systems engineering. I spent two years as an enlisted mechanic before entering the Naval Academy. My bigger younger brother plays soccer for the Vulcans at the University of Hawaii. I played soccer through high school, my senior year I was captain. I grew up in Hopkinton, NH.  Being from New England I am a loyal fan of the Patriots, Bruins, Revolution, and Red Sox. Newcastle is my favorite team outside of New England.
