The Naval Academy Museum is headed by a Director who manages the administrative and financial business, established policy, promotes community relations, and gives general guidance to the staff. Three Curators provide professional expertise. One is in charge of ship models; another oversees the Robinson Collection of Naval Prints; and a third, the Senior Curator, has responsibility for all the other objects. An Education Specialist who plans and conducts tours of the exhibits; also an authority on the dockyard models collection. A Museum Registrar records the location of all Museum objects and arranges for the loan and transportation of art and artifacts to other museums and to offices and buildings in the Yard. An Exhibits Specialist designs, constructs, and maintains long-term and special exhibitions. The staff is completed by an administrative assistant to the Director, two custodians and volunteers.
