This is strctly experimental. We are evaluating products that promise to allow web access to email systems such as we have on Arctic, Baltic, and Coral. Information Technology Services is not responsible for problems caused by the products. However, you are encouraged to help us with testing. Products being tested
Squirrel Mail
Something new for November 2002. Squirrel Mail is much more featured than
WWW-MAIL, but has not been user tested. It automatically sends you to your
default mail server Arctic, Danube (Baltic/Coral), or GroupWise.
It will also look up addresses in the USNA directory and allows access to
folders on the mail server. There is also a
little tested calendar sharing feature. Feel free to try it. Do Not
bookmark it, because it will be moved from a test system to a production
system if it is successful.

WWW-MAIL
For several years we have used a modified version of the public domain WWW-MAIL. It is very basic and will be eliminated soon. There is no access to folders or address lookup.
