Dedicated in 2001, the Glenn Warner
Soccer Facility is a superior athletic complex, on par with the facilities
of other national caliber programs. Its implementation allows Navy soccer
to remain competitive nationally, attract the nation's most talented student-athletes
and gives the Midshipmen a facility that inspires pride and mindfulness
to the importance of physical fitness. More importantly, the Glenn Warner
Facility furthers the Academy's goals, providing a home where young men
and women evolve from capable athletes into gifted leaders.
The facility houses a soccer "Wall of Fame," a tribute to all former Midshipmen soccer players who achieved excellence in athletics, military service, service to the country and service to the community. The structure itself is equipped with adjacent locker rooms for practice and game situations, facilities for visiting teams and officials, training rooms, equipment storage rooms, restrooms and concession areas. In all, the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility stands as a symbol of Navy's dedication to the future, while paying homage to one of the Academy's most respected athletic mentors.
