Vehicle Access Process

The procedure for obtaining/renewing vehicle passes for access to the United States Naval Academy have changed due to heightened security measures with the DOD/DON.  Please note, pedestrian access is available through the Visitor Center during normal hours and vehicle passes are not required for active duty, retired, or those who qualify for handicap parking.

All USNA Chapel related access requests are valid for a maximum of 1 year. Chapel related requests fall under 2 categories.

1.  Volunteers.  Religious ministry volunteers may request vehicle access to perform USNA approved functions as designated by the Command Chaplain. Volunteer passes are limited to the specific volunteer and the times and hours of the approved function.  Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) - Religious Volunteers must also attend covenant training and meet the USNA ECA guidelines.

2.  Congregants.  Those that attend services may request a vehicle pass valid for the day of their service only.  Passengers attending a service do not need separate passes.  Because of limited parking, congregants with mobility concerns that would not qualify for handicap access have priority.

Please fill out the required form here and drop off in person at the Chaplain Center.

We can be found in the Uriah P. Levy Center on the second floor.

If you have questions about whether you qualify please call the office at 410-293-1100.
