Profile

Major Daniel Goff is a California native and joined the Marine Corps in 2000 after completing Officer Candidate School.  Major Goff has served in a variety of billets to include: maintenance officer, operations officer, Weapons and Tactics Instructor, and Deployment Officer in Charge.  He has deployed to the Horn of Africa, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Okinawa.  His military awards include the Air Medal with two “V” devices, Navy Commendation Medal with gold star in lieu of second award, Navy Achievement Medal, Joint Achievement Medal, Humanitarian Assistance Award, and numerous unit awards.

Major Goff’s military education includes The Basic School, Navy Flight Training, CH-53E flight training, Weapons and Tactics School, Expeditionary Warfare School, Defense Language Institute-Russian, and Command and Staff College.  He attended Sonoma State University, American Military University and Kyiv Mohyla Academy and has a bachelor’s degree in American History and master’s degrees in Middle East Studies and Political Science.
