All you need to know about tickets and will call.

There will be a Will Call on location in Alumni Hall.

Tickets are free for all midshipman and are available in MWF located on 3-0. They can also purchase tickets for guests there.

Are there any age restrictions?
The International Ball is a college-level event and only for persons age 18 years and older. There are no exceptions to this rule. All attendees must be 18 years or older.
Attire Information.

Attire for all midshipmen is dinner dress blues with miniature medals (or service equivalent). 

For civilians, the event is black tie. For females, long dress is recommended, but not required.

There will be a coat check. 

Food and Drink Information.

There will be appetizers and refreshments offered at the event. 

There will be no alcohol at the event.

No outside food or drink will be allowed inside the event. 

When does the dancing start and end?

General dancing will begin at the conclusion of the opening ceremony and cultural exhibitions. Attendance for the ceremony and cultural exhibitions is highly recommended. Exhibitions are expected to conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The last dance will be at 11:30pm in order to facilitate the conclusion of the event at midnight.

What type of music will be played during the ball?

A mix of music from different cultures as well as modern dance songs to appeal to all tastes will be played. Trident Brass, the Naval Academy's own midshipmen jazz and swing band will kick-off the evening’s festivities. They will be followed by the Navy Band Cruisers, the Navy's premier popular music group.

There will be great mix of live music to set the scene for dancing and a memorable evening.

How large is the event?
Approximately 3,000 people from different parts of the world and all over the country will be in attendance.
Can I bring my camera into Alumni Hall?
Yes! Photos are always encouraged; there will be plenty of memorable moments to share with others!
