Maj Robinson was born July 12, 1988, in Thousand Oaks, CA. She graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s of Science in English, and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.
In July of 2011, Maj Robinson reported to The Basic School in Quantico, VA. Upon completion, she was selected as an Air Support Control Officer and reported for duty at Marine Air Support Squadron One, Marine Air Control Group 28, 2d Marine Air Wing, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC.
During her time at MASS-1, Maj Robinson supported numerous exercises and deployed in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM 13.1 as a Helicopter Director and Tactical Air Director. She was promoted to First Lieutenant in 2013, while forward deployed. Upon her return from Afghanistan, she served as a Platoon Commander for Air Support Company. She was then selected to serve as the Air Support Element Officer-in-Charge in support of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2015. Upon returning from deployment, she served as MASS-1’s S-2 officer. Maj Robinson was promoted to her present rank in August 2021.
Maj Robinson went on to receive orders to Marine Air Support Squadron Three, Marine Air Control Group 38, 3d Marine Air Wing, in Camp Pendleton, CA. She reported in the summer of 2016, and served as the Current Operations and Simulations Officer. During this time, she supported numerous exercises to include Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course. After earning all preliminary qualifications, Maj Robinson attended Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course as a student and earned a secondary Military Occupation Specialty as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor.
Upon completion of WTI, Maj Robinson reported to Marine Air Control Group 38 Headquarters, 3d Marine Air Wing, aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA, where she served as Company Commander and Weapons and Tactics Training Program Officer for the Control Group.
At the completion of Company Command in 2018, Maj Robinson received orders to Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade aboard Naval Support Activity Bahrain. She served as a Watch Officer and as Liaison Officer to Combined Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve during her tour.
After the completion of her overseas tour in 2019, Maj Robinson reported to the United States Naval Academy to serve as a Leadership Instructor. Her personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
