SW/FMF Joe R. Campa, USN (Ret.)

Joe Campa is the Chief Executive Officer of Kent, Campa & Kate Inc. (KCK).  KCK is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business focused on providing professional services to the Federal Government. KCK’s  primary mission is to provide employment opportunities for veterans and their family members.

Prior to launching KCK with the 16th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Carlton Kent, Campa served as Vice President, Center for Leadership Excellence, for CACI International Inc., a $4 billion professional services and information technology (IT).

Before CACI, Joe Campa was the 11th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. In this role, he held responsibilities that included the leadership, development, and utilization of a 280,000-strong enlisted force.  He served as the principle advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations, Secretary of the Navy, and Secretary of Defense on all matters involving Navy enlisted policy. He also testified before Congress on quality of life issues affecting sailors and their families. 

Master Chief Campa was the first minority to become the top enlisted sailor in the United States Navy. He was voted one of the nation’s 100 most influential Hispanics in 2006 by Hispanic Business Magazine. Upon his departure from active duty, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the President of the United States for exceptionally meritorious service to the United States Government while in a “Duty of Great Responsibility.”
