9/11 Commemorative Day of Service

A weekend dedicated to honoring our nation by placing American flags out on Stribling Walk, running the American flag from Colors to sunset colors, and participate in a local community clean-up at our local WWII Memorial and Jonas Green Park in Annapolis, MD. Midshipmen from plebes to the Brigade Commander came out in force to service our historical sites. This event takes place every September.

In 2009, Congress designated September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance under bipartisan federal law, and charged the Corporation for National and Community Service with helping to support this effort across the country.
