Application Process
The MDC can process applications from United States residents only. Interested applicants should submit the following electronically to mdc@usna.edu:
- CV
- Cover letter that explains your interest in this externship program and identifies the track to which you are applying.
- Two letters of recommendation submitted by your references. It is your responsibility to confirm with your references that they have sent their letters to mdc@usna.edu by the deadline.
- A listing of your completed coursework, including courses that will have been completed by the start of the externship. You may submit an official or unofficial transcript to meet this application requirement along with a listing of your current courses (i.e., Spring semester).
Please use the following subject line in your submission: “[YOUR LAST NAME] 2023 Externship Application.” The application deadline for the 2023-2024 externship year will be February 2, 2024.
