The USNA Makerspace is a joint initiative between the Computer Science Department and the Center for Cybersecurity Studies. It is a physical space located in Michelson 391 specifically designed and equipped to enable students and faculty to explore and push the boundaries of computing technology. It is a space to share ideas; to tinker with, hack, modify, and explore technology; and create the future.
The USNA Makerspace offers a variety of tools and technology including:
- 3D printer
- Soldering stations
- Multimeters and other electronic testing equipment
- Hand tools
- Electric multi-tool
- Cell phones
- Development platforms
- and more!
The Makerspace is open to all faculty and students at USNA regardless of academic major.
