USNA Makerspace

Makerspace lab imageThe USNA Makerspace is a joint initiative between the Computer Science Department and the Center for Cybersecurity Studies. It is a physical space located in Michelson 391 specifically designed and equipped to enable students and faculty to explore and push the boundaries of computing technology. It is a space to share ideas; to tinker with, hack, modify, and explore technology; and create the future.


The USNA Makerspace offers a variety of tools and technology including:
  • 3D printer
  • Soldering stations
  • Multimeters and other electronic testing equipment
  • Hand tools
  • Electric multi-tool
  • Cell phones
  • Robots
  • Development platforms
  • and more!

The Makerspace is open to all faculty and students at USNA regardless of academic major.
