Summer Internships

There are a variety of summer internships offered through the Mathematics Department that provide a hands-on opportunity to see how mathematics can help solve real-world civilian and military problems. Past internship sites include the John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, OPNAV N81 at the Pentagon, and Lockheed Martin.

Mathematics Department majors may also be interested in internships offered through other departments, such as the internships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Sandia National Laboratories offered by the Physics Department (link - USNA only).

If you have any questions, please contact the Department Internship Coordinator, LCDR Timothy Brock.
