CDR David M. Wallace will talk to the Mathematics Department about the Leadership, Ethics, and Law Department - particularly who the faculty are and what they teach. Many professors (junior, senior, military, and civilian alike) are surprised to find out that the Leadership, Ethics, and Law Department is comprised of PhD psychologists, sociologists, and philosophers, as well as Juris Doctors, and that its core and elective curricula are firmly rooted in these disciplines. By visiting the our department, CDR Wallace hopes to build some awareness of the Leadership, Ethics, and Law Department, to converse about helping each other talk about leadership and ethics in our classrooms, and to find opportunities for cross-disciplinary research and writing.
