As we get ready to vote on which calculus book to adopt in the fall, the new (8th) edition of Stewart has just come out. There may be changes to WebAssign as well. Some representatives from Cengage will be on hand to tell us about the changes and answer questions.

Monday's seminar is for anyone who uses "active learning" strategies in the classroom. By which I don't mean "kinesthetic learning," where students move around the room, though I suppose that can be an example too! Instead I mean anything where the students are active participants and not passive observers. We will swap stories. What are your students doing and thinking? What are the joys and challenges for you?
