Midshipmen Black Studies Club

The purpose of Midshipman Black Studies Club is to strongly engage in outreach programs in the community and therefore bringing about awareness of different outreach opportunities. Through this club we try to bring together the brigade through community service and conferences such as National Naval Officers Association (NNOA).

The Midshipman Black Studies club is an ECA that is open to all midshipman in the brigade.  This ECA is one element of the Triad, the others include gospel choir and National Black Society of Engineers (NBSC).  This ECA conducts various activities such as mentorship, community service, black history month and club outings. The Midshipman Black Studies club ECA meets three times a month on Sunday’s at 1915 in MI 110.
