USNA GLEE CLUB TO PERFORM IN FLORIDA AND VIRGINIA DURING SPRING BREAK

The internationally-acclaimed U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club will appear in concert in Orlando, Fla., Tampa, Fla., and Norfolk, Va., during their spring break concert tour.
- The Orlando, Fla., concert will be held at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, located at 130 N. Magnolia Ave. at 3 p.m. March 8.
- The Tampa, Fla., concert will be held at the Hyde Park United Methodist Church, located at 500 W. Platt St. at 7 p.m. March 12.
- The Norfolk, Va., concert will take place at the Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 560 W. Olney Road at 7 p.m. March 14.
All concerts are free and open to the public, and tickets are not required. Doors will open thirty minutes prior to the concert.
The USNA Glee Club is comprised of 90 singers – both the Naval Academy Men’s and Women’s Glee Clubs. The Men’s Glee Club has achieved international prominence as one of the world’s premier men’s choruses, and the highly-acclaimed Women’s Glee Club is the only all-female military ensemble in the world. Appearances on network television include The Kennedy Centers Honors (CBS), The Today Show (NBC), NBC and TNT’s Christmas in Washington, and several nationwide broadcasts featuring the National Anthem.
The USNA Glee Club regularly performs choral-orchestral works collaborating with the nation’s leading symphonic organizations. Recent orchestral collaborations include performances as a guest artist with the Minnesota Orchestra, Memphis Symphony, and Nashville Symphony. In the past decade alone, the USNA Glee Club has performed extensively throughout the United States and abroad to include concert tours to Great Britain, Chile, Italy, Argentina, and Brazil.
