How a Midshipman Helped Bring a Family’s Vision to Life During the COVID-19 Quarantine

When the Snowden family of five came to visit the U.S. Naval Academy before COVID-19, they expected a day of history and tourism, and an opportunity to learn of their great uncle’s experiences as a midshipman from the Class of 1958. What they didn’t realize was that the souvenir selected by their toddler that day would present the family with an opportunity to take an exciting voyage during quarantine.
