Shifley Lecture

April 23, 2019
12:30 PM - 01:30 PM
2nd floor theater of Preble Hall (the Museum)
The USNA Museum invites you to our final Shifley Lecture of the spring series.  We are excited to host author Sally Mott Freeman for a talk on her book, "The Jersey Brothers: A Missing Naval Officer in the Pacific, and his Family's Quest to Bring Him Home," which was recognized as an Amazon Best Book of the Year.  The late Senator McCain had this to say about Jersey Brothers:
“From the decks of the USS Enterprise to the depths of the Japanese prison camps, Sally Mott Freeman takes readers on an epic journey in this remarkable tribute to the Greatest Generation.” —Senator John McCain

The talk will be held next, Tuesday, April 23rd, from 1230-1315 in the lecture room on the 2nd deck of Preble Hall.  It will end with plenty of time for midshipmen and faculty to make 5th period.
