Project: Indoor Tennis/Racquet Sports Facility
Project Task:
- Construct indoor tennis/racquet sports facility promoting physical education, athletic excellence and lifelong fitness
- Explore construction materials options such as tension fabric or pre-engineered building for use in a facility at USNA or North Severn
Expected Outcome/Benefit:
- Provides a year-round tennis/racquet sports facility
- Provides a world class venue needed for recruiting
- Promotes and enhances lifelong fitness goals of the USNA physical mission
- Provides possible revenue source in support of varsity athletics
