Project: Construct new field house to accomplish the physical mission for the US Naval Academy
Project Task:
- Construct new field house located on Turner Field with military construction funding
- Design will incorporate:
- an indoor track
- sports medicine clinic
- varsity offices
- trophy/recruiting hall
- locker and training rooms
Expected Outcome/Benefit:
- Provide athletic swing space during the Halsey Field House renovation
- Provide Title IX gender equity standards
- Provide a modern, state-of-the-art facility accommodating:
- varsity and club sports
- intramurals
- and to free up spaces in other buildings to facilitate repairs
- Enhance the physical mission and recruiting image of the US Naval Academy
