Welcome to SI460!

Interested in 2D and 3D Graphics and how 3D images are created?

This course is here to answer those questions and many more. We will focus on understanding the math behind graphics, then working to develop increasingly complex 2D and 3D interactive environments, The course will cover the necessary math, Python math libraries, and 2D and 3D graphics using Python/OpenGL, with discussions on higher level graphics engines.

Please note that this course takes a building block approach where you are expected to build an environment from the ground up before using higher level tools! Fundamentals first!

There is no homework in this class, but there are weekly labs which on average will take more time than the allotted lab period. Additionally, there will be two large individual projects with a final in-class demonstration of your in-class work and final project. Take a look at the course policy to understand grading at the end of each grading periods (6wk, 12wk, and the final).
