  • Email me to request EI
  • Allow at least 24 hours (1 business day) to hear back from me
  • I review your schedule in MIDS and suggest some times that we are mutually available
  • Bring your completed/attempted homework assignments to the EI session
  • Math Department EI Policy instructions include the following passage

    • “Student learning is the highest priority of each instructor, and students seeking EI should make the most of each session by coming prepared with specific questions and goals for the session that cannot be achieved elsewhere. Students should allow 1 business day to receive a response to a request for EI and up 3 to 5 business days from their request until meeting for EI. EI will be scheduled at a time mutually convenient for the student and the instructor. Students are encouraged to limit their EI requests for this course to up to 1 hour of EI per week. Any student requiring extra support is strongly encouraged to study with others in this class, attend the Midshipmen Group Study Program (MGSP) when available, visit the Math Lab, or access the Center for Academic Excellence (“AcCenter”) as necessary. In order to foster personal academic responsibility within the Brigade, instructors are encouraged to limit their weekly EI offerings to 3 hours total per week.”
