GMTED 2010

This data set provides 7 options for computation of elevations.  You should carefully consider which you want.  The STD (Standard deviation) grid will estimate the slope or roughness in the vicinity of the point.

You can get elevations at 30 sec, 15 sec, and 7.5 sec for global and continental scale visualization.
