Land Cover Map to Match Base Map

Download the landcover and unzip if needed

• Copernicus Global Land Cover (GLC100) preferred for better resolution
• 300 m C3S Global Land Cover and Land Cover Maps - v2.0.7 (need to unzip)

Insure GDAL is available

Subset & zoom the base map to cover the area you want

File, Load subset landcover or population density, and pick the landcover file you downloaded

If you want to open this again rapidly, Save the map in MICRODEM format, insuring to save it outside the c:\mapdata\temp folder.
