Monthly Wind Plots

Climate options to open the winds database.

• Double clicking on a record in the data base
• right click on the map, then Physical geography, then Monthly winds

Jan-Dec plot as 1 to 12. Annual vector average is month 15 on the right. Vectors point in the direction of the wind, which is not necessarily the meteorology convention.

To get a text file with the data display, Analyze graph, View data menu choice.  You will have columns with month, direction, and wind speed.

This database has records every 2.5º, so you will get broad regional averages.
