TCP Map options

 

These are currently not enabled.  See the separate list of working commands.

 


DEM Maps
Command DEM Map Box
Format: DEM-MAP-BOX|NW_LAT|NW_LONG|SE_LAT|SE_LONG$

Notes
  1. Redraws the DEM map to cover the box specified.

 

Command DEM Map Zoom
Format: DEM-MAP-ZOOM|LAT|LONG|LAT_BOX_SIZE|LONG_BOX_SIZE$

Notes
  1. Redraws the DEM map centered on the point specified, with a size in degrees as specified.

Command Get DEM Map Lat Long

Command Get DEM Elevation from  Lat Long

Command IMAGE-MAP-BOX

Command Get Map Point

Notes The user double clicks on the map in the MICRODEM window, and MICRODEM returns the coordinates to the TCP control.

 

Command TIGER
Format: TIGER$

Notes 1.  Overlays TIGER data on the map

 

Command NO-TIGER
Format: NO-TIGER$

MICRODEM Response:  NO-TIGER|0|OK$

Notes 1.  Removes TIGER data from map, and redraws the map

 

Command Set Map Size
Format: MAP-SIZE|width|height$
Sample: MAP-SIZE|800|600$
MICRODEM Response:  MAP-SIZE|0|OK$
Possible error messages:  
Notes 1.Resets the MICRODEM default map size, so that maps will attempt to open in the largest size that will fit within these limits and maintain correct geometry.  One dimension of the map will match the defaults, and the other will be smaller than specified to preserve the map aspect ratio. 

2.  Does not immediately redraw the map.

 

Command MAP-GRID
Format: MAP-GRID|<code>$
Sample: MAP-GRID|3$
MICRODEM Response: MAP-GRID|0|OK$
Possible error messages:  
Notes Codes:
  • 0--UTM
  • 1--Lat/Long
  • 2--Both
  • 3--Neither

Does not immediately redraw the map.

 

Command MAP-ANAGLYPH
Format: MAP-ANAGLYPH$
Sample: MAP-ANAGLYPH$
MICRODEM Response: MAP-ANAGLYPH|OK$
Possible error messages:  
Notes Immediately redraws the map in anaglyph mode.

If both a DEM and a satellite image are open, both will be redrawn.

 

Command SCALE-BAR
Format: SCALE-BAR|<code>|<loc>$
Sample: SCALE-BAR|0|0$
MICRODEM Response: SCALE-BAR|0|OK$
Possible error messages:  
Notes Codes:
  • 1--Yes
  • 0--No

Location--not yet implemented, uses default in MICRODEM
