Slope Map Instructions

Start a slope map by:

Right clicking on a DEM map, picking the "Map Parameter" choice from the popup menu, and then picking "Slope".

Modify slope map by:

Right clicking on the map, and picking "Slope categories". If you pick "Standard", you can adjust the bins and colors, and for reverse grayscale you can also affect the colors.
Right clicking on the DEM/slope merge map, and picking "Max merge slope" to adjust the range over which the color spectrum will be spread. This requires that the DEM for the map area be loaded.

You can also Create a new derivative grid of slope. Unlike this option, that one will not show the elevation as your roam over the map.
