IT350: Web and Internet Programming

Welcome, Fall 2015!

Course Overview

This is one of the core courses for our information technology majors, and often an elective for a variety of other majors. It covers the central facets of web programming, including HTML5, CSS, and javascript. It also covers server-side programming with a focus on Perl. While learning these languages is fundamental, you will also learn higher level concepts about proper client-server relationships. This includes how to create websites, but also how to write advanced programs that properly handle users and their data.
