UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY FINANCE & INVESTMENT CLUB CHARTER

OUR MISSION: To champion financial literacy for future Sailors and Marines, cultivate strategic macroeconomic acumen across the Brigade, and bridge military leadership with financial sector expertise. By equipping midshipmen to ensure the personal financial security of the service members they lead, we enable total focus on operational readiness while developing future leaders capable of leveraging financial strategy as an instrument of national power.

STRATEGIC VISION: Modern warfare extends beyond kinetic domains into global capital markets, critical supply chains, and international financial systems. Financial strategy is a core component of national defense and a decisive vector for deterring adversaries and winning wars. The USNA Finance & Investment Club prepares future officers to understand global market mechanics, macroeconomic forecasting, and economic statecraft to maintain strategic dominance on and off the battlefield.

CORE PILLARS

• Troop Welfare & Financial Readiness: Serving as dedicated stewards of our future Sailors and Marines by driving financial literacy, removing financial stress from operational units, and supporting long-term force retention.

• Joint Force Interoperability: Actively collaborating with counterpart organizations at the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy to forge joint-force alignment on global economic strategy, defense acquisition, and resource management.

• Financial Strategy as Warfighting: Analyzing state-level economic levers, international markets, trading mechanisms, and financial networks to understand how resource flow and market stability impact national security.

• Human Capital & Industry Analysis: Studying the operational mechanics, leadership models, and risk strategies of firms, market-making institutions, and global financial exchanges to understand how premier private organizations function, helps reinforce the shared conviction that people are our nation's and our military's greatest asset.

OUR COMMITMENT: Through rigorous examination of elite financial institutions and joint academic initiatives, we commit to returning to Annapolis better equipped to lead. We will graduate as principled officers in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps who are capable of safeguarding the welfare of our personnel, assessing economic risks to national security, and leading seamlessly across the Joint Force.
