Society of American Military Engineers

This ECA is meant to act primarily as a conduit for personal and profession relationships to develop between midshipmen and more experience military engineers. Informational meetings are generally held 3-4 per semester and subject matter experts or high ranking military engineers are brought in to guide and mentor young midshipman. There is also an open invite for midshipman to attend professional functions at the Baltimore Post (this is post specifically responsible for our funding each year). During the spring semester SAME is responsible for coordinating and executing the Engineering Appreciate Dinner. This past dinner featured Admiral Klunder (former Commandant of midshipman) as the keynote speaker.
