  • Ron & Marleen Koehler

    Nav's USNA Team Leaders
    Research Interests
    The Koehlers have served on staff with The Navigators since 1983 in Austria and Eastern Europe, Syracuse University, Lehigh University, and Uganda . Both Ron and Marleen came to know Christ as children, but did not begin living and experiencing His Lordship until their university years in the 1970's when they met The Navigators, Marleen at Cornell and Ron at Penn State. They are currently serving as the team leaders for The Navigators at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland. They were married in June of 1985 and have four adult children.

  • Mike Slone

    Navs Representative (Triad Christian Fellowship)
    Research Interests
    Mike and Marsha Slone both came to Christ in their college years, Mike at The Citadel and Marsha at Oregon State. They ministered as insiders during Mike's active duty time in the Air Force. In 1985 they responded to God's call to minister with The Navigators as missionaries to the military and have ministered at US military bases in California, England, and now the United States Naval Academy. Mike and Marsha have been married since 1978 and have one daughter Elisabeth.

  • CAPT Matt Carr, USN

    Navs Officer Representative Mechanical Engineering Dept.
    Research Interests
    Captain Matt Carr is a 1981 graduate of the Naval Academy, currently serving as a Permanent Military Professor of Mechanical Engineering and teaches courses in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Energy Systems.

  • LCDR Noble Hetherington III, USN

    Navs Officer Representative Math Department
    Research Interests
    LCDR Noble Hetherington III is a Permanent Military Instructor in the Mathematics Department. He teaches core Calculus courses and a variety of other introductory Math courses. He graduated from RPI/NROTC in 2000, and holds a M.S. in Engineering Acoustics from Naval Postgraduate School. He also facilitates preparations for Nuclear Power Accession Interviews.
