CLASS OF 2019 STATS
GEOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION
The Class of 2019 will include candidates who have accepted appointments from all 50 states, the Virgin Islands, Northern Marianas Islands, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
The Class of 2019 includes 12 international students from: Albania (1), Cambodia (1), Georgia (1), Korea (1), Malaysia (1), Montenegro (1), Philippines (2), Taiwan (1), Thailand (1), and Turkey (2).
ALUMNI SONS AND DAUGHTERS:
The Class of 2019 includes 36 sons and 20 daughters of Naval Academy alumni (5%).
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
The Class of 2019 includes 32% from college and post‑high school preparatory programs, which include:
- 221 from Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) in Newport, R.I.
- 59 from the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation Program/Civilian Prep Program.
- 102 students have completed at least six months of study at a college or university.
