NOTE TO EDITORS AND REPORTERS: Please contact the USNA Public Affairs Office at 410-293-2292 or and/or Rhonda Wardlaw at the City of Annapolis at 410-562-8970 if you have questions about this event.

In celebration of Veteran’s Day, the U.S. Naval Academy Brigade of Midshipmen will march through downtown Annapolis from approximately 11-11:45 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 12 as part of the pre-game festivities for the Navy home football game at noon versus Tulsa at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

The midshipmen will depart from Gate 1 of the Academy and follow a route up Main Street to College Avenue, proceeding to Rowe Boulevard towards the stadium. Expect road closures and delays between 11 a.m. to noon in these areas to support this movement.

Spectators to the march-over are reminded to stay on the sidewalks and not to interfere with midshipmen or security personnel. Spectators are also reminded to please refrain from throwing candy, food, beverages or other items at midshipmen and uniformed personnel during the march-over in order to maintain the safety of the midshipmen and to keep our city streets clean.
