This week’s Featured Firstie is Midshipman 1/C Jacqueline Smith from Chicago, IL.

Jacqueline is a member of 6th company and took on the roles of the Alcohol and Drug Educational Officer for her company and 1st Regimental PAO. Prior to the academy, Jacqueline served three and a half years enlisted as a Culinary Specialist and will continue her naval career as a SWO upon commissioning.

Jacqueline spent all four years at the academy managing the Navy Football Team as a videographer. In the spring, she worked as one of the recruiting assistants and enjoyed giving tours of the Naval Academy to the recruits, prospects, and their families. Jacqueline said she will miss being a part of the Football Team and assisting with other sporting events on the yard. Upon commission, she will be assisting Navy Athletics with all things sports.
