Shuttle Bus Schedule
Shuttle buses from the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium are free and will shuttle to and from USNA during the following times:
- Sunday - Monday 7 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
- Tuesday 7 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
- Wednesday - Thursday 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Vehicular Access Gate Hours
(NOTE: Vehicular access to the yard is secured from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. except for military with CAC ID, faculty/staff/residents, contractors, handicapped parking tags.)
- Gate 1: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Gate 8: 24 hours
Pedestrian Access Gate Hours
- Gate 3: Saturday, May 21 - 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 22 - Thursday, May 26 - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Gate 1 (Visitor Access Center): Sunday, May 22 - Thursday, May 26 – 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 - 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Yard Access
Vehicle access and parking on the Yard is extremely limited. Drivers without Department of Defense ID cards are not permitted to drive on the Naval Academy grounds from 7a.m. to 4p.m. throughout the week. Only Military with CAC ID, faculty/staff/ residents, contractors, and those with handicapped parking tags are allowed to drive onto the yard during Commissioning Week.
Park at the Stadium - Take the Shuttle to USNA
Parking will be provided at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Families of 1/C midshipmen will be given one parking tag (rear view mirror type) that must be displayed for free parking at the stadium during Commissioning Week. All other visitors must pay the daily parking fee ($5/car and $10/RV).
All Commissioning Week parking will be on the Blue (West) Side of the stadium, with entry and egress through Gate #5 on Taylor Avenue. No overnight parking is permitted. On Graduation Day (May 27), parking is free for those with graduation tickets, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking gates open at 6:30 a.m. Stadium gates and concession stands open to guests at 7 a.m. on Graduation Day.
