Naval Academy Holiday Gate Hours

See below for updated USNA Holiday Gate Hours:  

Gate 1:  

o    Vehicle Entry:  

• 12/20/2023 (Wednesday) to 1/8/2023 (Monday): Closed for vehicle entry
• 1/9/2023 (Tuesday): Resume regular hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

o    Pedestrian Entry: 

• Visitor Access Center (VAC): Open for pedestrian access. (6 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
• Turnstile: Credentialed Pedestrian Access (CAC, DOD, DOD Dependents, Retirees, Reservists) via turnstile is only available during hours when the VCC is open. During the holiday period from 12/20/2023 and 1/8/2023, the VCC and Gate 1 turnstiles will be open 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. Entry and exit through the turnstile are NOT available 24-hours. 

Gate 3:  

o    Vehicle Entry:  

• Permanently closed to vehicle traffic

o    Pedestrian Entry:

• Credentialed Pedestrian Access (CAC, DoD, DoD Dependents, Retirees, Reservists) via turnstile 24 hours daily

o    Manned pedestrian gate is open to the public on the following dates only:

• 12/02/2023 – 12/03/2023: Messiah Concerts (Chapel)
• 12/14/2023: Naval Academy Primary School (NAPS) Christmas Pageant (Chapel) - Open for pedestrians from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• 12/24/2023: Christmas Eve Religious Services open for Pedestrians 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Services (tentative): 
  • 4 p.m.: Protestant Family 
  • 6 p.m.: Catholic Mass 
  • 9 p.m.: Protestant Candlelight Service 

 

 Gate 8:  

o    Vehicle Entry:  

• 24 hours daily

o    Pedestrian Entry:  

• 24 hours daily

 

  CVIS:  

o    CVIS will be moved to Gate 8 from 20 DEC through 09 JAN.
