MIDN Present at CubeSat Developers Workshop

Eight midshipmen presented at the CubeSat Developers Workshop in San Luis Obsipo, CA from April 22-24, 2025.  1/C MIDN Andrew Bui, Andrew Cabral, Abbey Parker, Connor Pettigrew and Lev Salov presented OSPREY VAOPRSAT, a 2U payload for the Naval Academy Standard Bus.  OSPREY VAPORSAT is a passive thruster that extends the on-orbit lifetime for CubeSats to 10-20 days per 1U tank size at a 250 km altitude orbit. MIDN Josh Engler, Connor Riddle, and Micah Wilson presented ADVANCING UNDERGRADUATE SPACE RESEARCH WITH A STANDARDIZED CUBESAT BUS, focusing on the bus build and payload integration for USNA-16.
