NNOA STEM Day 2022

The National Naval Officers Association (NNOA) held its annual symposium in Annapolis this year celebrating 50 years of history. The week kicked off on July 25, with a STEM day bringing close to one hundred students onto the Yard for a day of learning and exploration.

NNOA and USNA STEM Center are focused on addressing an urgent national need for more young people to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The National Naval Officers Association mission is to enhance Sea Service operational readiness by supporting recruiting, professional development, and retention to achieve a diverse officer corps that reflects the demographics of our Nation. USNA faculty and midshipmen provide STEM outreach to local and national communities to engage and influence students and teachers.
