Classes I teach
Nothing fancy... Here is a list of classes I often teach, the full list of courses I've taught is on my main page
EA203: Funamentals of Aerospace Engineering I |
Our introduction to the Aeronautics side of the major for Youngsters. We briefly cover all major topics governing the flight of aircraft operating within the atmosphere. |
EA232: Dynamics for Aerospace Engineers |
We build upon physics fundamentals to solve for the motion of bodies undergoing external forcing. |
EA208: Numerical Analysis |
Our departments intro to programming class, utilizing MATLAB. We cover basic programming and also introduce computational methods for solving engineering problems. |
EA413F/R: Fixed and Rotary Wing Stability and Control |
We develop the equations of motion for airplanes and helicopters and discuss stability characteristics. We talk about how pilots (or computers!) control aircraft and rotorcraft and how control systems are evaluated and designed. |
EA496/EA496: Independent Research
If you are interested any of my research topics, let's talk. Students can most easily tie into the UAS work or the small rotor test stand. There are lots of great projects we could come up with for you to work on during a semester. |
