The Class Of 1963 Center For Academic Excellence (CAE) Was Founded In 1989 As The Academic Center. In 2003 Our Name Was Changed To The Class Of 1963 Center For Academic Excellence In Honor Of The Class Of 1963 And Their Substantial Support Of The Academic Center.
In 2020, Ron Terwilliger USNA '63 Became The Largest Individual Donor In USNA's History By Bequething a Substantial Endowment To The CAE. When Realized, These Contributions Will Fund The CAE At Its Current Level Of Operations In Perpetuity.
In Recognition Of The Generous Support Of These Donors, The CAE Was Officially Rechristened The Class Of 1963 Center For Academic Excellence, Endowed By J. Ronald Terwilliger ’63 And Classmates.
We Thank Them For Their Legacy And Support To Those Who Follow!
