IMPORTANT NOTES:

#1: For any forms where you are seeing the "Please wait...." message, please download and save the form to your computer. When you open the downloaded form from your computer files, it should open up in the Adobe program installed on your computer (not in an Adobe Reader in an internet browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge). Once the form opens in the Adobe program, there will be a button in the upper right corner that says "Enable All Features." Please click "Enable All Features" in order for the forms to actually load.
#2: Please disregard "Alpha Number" requests within the forms. Your alpha number will be provided closer to I-Day. Additionally, please disregard "DOD/DOD ID" requests within the forms unless you are a military dependent or active duty.
#3: If you have issues logging into ABS, please wait seven (7) business days before contacting Mr. Isom.
#4: Final transcripts are not required unless requested.  If requested, please send to: admissionsfinaltranscript-group@usna.edu
#5: Starting May 7th, 2025 NSA Annapolis and USNA will require REAL-ID compliant credentials for visitors entering through pedestrian Gate 1 Visitor Control Center.  Visitors under the age of 18 who do not have a valid ID must be escorted by an adult with a valid form of identification.  Accepted IDs include REAL-ID driver's license / State ID (with star), US Passport, or enhanced driver's license (MI, MN, NY, VT, WA).

The electronic Permit to Report package is divided into five sections:

Section I: Immediate Action Items

Tells you what forms you must complete immediately upon receipt of the PTR package.  These items are mandatory.

Section II: Action Items Due Before I-Day

Tells you what forms, documents, or surveys are required to be submitted before I-Day.  Please note that many items also require physical copies that must be brought with you on your person on I-Day; therefore, do NOT place these items in your personal bag.  The due date for an action item is listed in the corresponding section.  These items are mandatory.

Section III -  Action Items Required on I-Day

Tells you what forms and items you must bring with you on I-Day.  All forms must be printed and brought with you when you check-in on I-Day. Do NOT place these items in your personal bag; we recommend placing all documents in a folder that you will hand-carry throughout your induction process.  These items are mandatory unless noted otherwise.

Section IV -  Optional Action Items

Tells you what forms you may complete as they pertain to your specific situation.  These forms are optional.  Each item has various due dates and forms of submission, so ensure you read the directions carefully and submit before the indicated deadline.

Section V -  Additional Information

Tells you important information to know prior to reporting for I-Day

Additional information can be found here: https://www.usna.edu/PlebeSummer/iday.php

Bus Service (I-Day Only)
USNA will provide bus service from Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to Alumni Hall starting 30 minutes prior to the first report time.  We encourage families to utilize this bus service as parking on the USNA campus will be very limited.
