EE474 Engineering Optics
Catalog Data & Credits (Recitation-Lab-Total)
EE474 Engineering Optics (2-2-3): Basics of optics and applications to engineering will be discussed, to include geometric and matrix optics, polarization, interference, and diffraction. Additional topics could include Fourier optics, radiometry and photometry, optical detection, and optical aberration effects. Midshipmen cannot receive credit for both EE474 and SP438.
Pre-requisites
SP212 or SP212P or SP212
Course Objectives
