Education

To ensure Midshipmen understand their rights as participants in human subject research, it may be helpful to use "USNA Research Participant Rights" as a discussion tool. Refer to the USNA Human Research Participant Rights file to download. The document can be printed as a pamphlet or viewed on screen.

For Faculty to understand the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process, please download the USNA Human Research Protocol Submissions for Faculty. The document can be printed as a pamphlet or viewed on screen.

Research investigators may refer to the Mitigating Undue Influence In Human Subject Research page for suggestions to mitigate Undue Influence while recruiting Midshipmen and conducting human subject research at USNA.
