LT Rebecca Brock is an Assistant Professor of Military Law at the United States Naval Academy. She joined the Navy as an Intelligence Officer in 2016 and earned her commission through Officer Candidate School. Following her commission, LT Brock completed her first tour as the aviation intelligence officer for HELMINERON FIFTEEN in Norfolk, VA. During that first tour, she deployed onboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) with CSG-1 in late 2018, where she earned her IWO pin. LT Brock then moved to the Naval Information Warfare Development Center in Hampton Roads, VA. From that tour, she was selected for the Law Education Program. She attended law school at William and Mary from 2021-2024. During law school, LT Brock interned at USFF and AIRLANT.
LT Brock graduated from Naval Justice School in November 2024. In her first tour as a JAG, LT Brock was assigned to Region Legal Service Office Naval District Washington. She worked as a legal assistance attorney for one year and then served as a staff judge advocate for NSA Annapolis. LT Brock was awarded RLSO NDW Junior Officer of the Quarter for Q1 of FY 2026.
LT Brock grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York. Prior to joining the Navy, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in World Religions from the University of Bridgeport and a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
LT Brock is a member of the District of Columbia Bar as of December 2024.
