14th Naval Academy Science and Engineering Conference
Cancelled
UPDATE (24OCT2025): Due to the continued lapse in federal appropriations we are unfortunately canceling the 2025 NASEC conference entirely. We hope that you are able to join us at next year’s conference in the fall of 2026.
The U.S. Naval Academy, a leading institution of higher education with strong programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), hosts an annual conference to bring policy makers and science advisors together with university faculty and students to discuss significant science and engineering challenges.
The conference provides a forum to bring together the nation's future Navy and Marine Corps officers with their peers from other colleges and universities, both civilian and military, from across the country. Participants engage in discussion and research on some of the key scientific and technical challenges facing the nation and the world.
For NASEC 2025 the conference theme is Artificial Intelligence: Unlocking the Algorithms and Their Impact
Conference attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers about their perspectives on the main themes of the conference.
Attendance at NASEC is limited. Undergraduate students who wish to attend must be nominated by the Dean or President of their college or university. Interested students should ask their college leadership to reach out to us regarding the nomination process, which typically occurs in September. NASEC is an in-person event, with no opportunity for virtual access.
