The USNA Masqueraders are proud to present: THE MAD LOVER By John Fletcher
When brave Memnon comes home to Paphos as a conquering hero, he doesn’t expect to encounter the hardest foe he could face: LOVE. Upon seeing the beautiful princess Calis, he falls madly in love with her, even vowing to literally give her his heart. His soldiers try to restore him to his senses to no avail. And when his captain Siphax confronts the princess, he too falls madly in love. Finally, Memnon’s young brother Polidor also confronts the princess, but Calis suddenly falls in love with Polidor. Who can solve this knotty tangle of unrequited mad loves? Perhaps only Venus can save the day!
